What is Varial?
The Y2K apocalypse is now a reality, and you play the hero Varial with a mission to save humanity. The catch? You’re a rogue skateboarder with a knack for cooking up whatever defenses you might need. Would you prefer a rocket launcher that shoots electrified whisks, or an assault rifle with a punch powered by your own deadly graffiti spray cans? You’re not just here to fight the small fry though. Towering above all the skyscrapers stomps the Y.2.K.A.I.J.U., a failed military defense response against the Y2K apocalypse – didn’t go too well for them, did it? Equipped with only a skateboard and your resourcefulness, it’s time to save the world.

The rule of the Y.2.K.A.I.J.U. has transformed the city, and you’ll see everything in your pursuit to reclaim it. Danger lurks around every corner, but you’re well prepared, even when the Y.2.K.A.I.J.U. itself is the terrain!

You’re not alone in this Y2K wasteland! The apocalypse is ruled by machines brought to life, and they'll do anything to end your mission prematurely. It’s your job to use whatever you can find to craft some unconventional weapons and fight back! Each enemy you kill gives you even more parts to use in your arsenal. Some enemies are stronger than others, so craft wisely!
perform sweet tricks
It’s you and your skateboard against the world, literally, so you gotta use it! Scaling ramps, rail grinding up escalators, and vaulting off benches not only makes you look awesome, but it also gives you an edge in your abilities. Charge your combo meter to swing harder and skate faster, and keep an eye out as you traverse the fallen city for anything you can trick on!
